Artist Statement:
Overall my work explores interconnectedness and the open-ended dialogue between art and science, by combining scientific concepts, laws and theories from different disciplines with an arts practice. Using free association to discover the mirroring of scientific theory and concept with social, formal and physical sciences; including mathematics, architecture, psychoanalysis, neuroscience, astronomy, astrometry and the philosophy of time & space.

Biography:
Christiana Kazakou is an interdisciplinary curator based in London. Her curatorial practice explores the performativity of exhibition displays, audience participation and interaction, immersive environments, art – science and performance, collaborative and interdisciplinary practises and alternative processes of interpretation through new media. She is especially fascinated by the concept of virtual museum, where the audience explores projects digitally crossing physical boundaries that geographical places usually impose. Also her interests in performance blur the boundaries of architecture and dance, fashion and science, science theatre, sound arts, site specific performance, performance lectures and live art.
