Artist Statement:
Hoarding syndrome and decadent aesthetics are the key components of my creative process.Everything starts with researching and analyzing the structure of the objects to insert; belonging to an unforgotten world, these objects have their own poetry.
My practice is based on the reworked versions of these items through their fusion with contemporary icons and symbols: sailors, sacred images and profane relics are translated into a modern aesthetics.
Biography:
Born in Terni in 1981, Umbria.His research crosses many painting schools, from Surrealism to Neo-pop, from Expressionism to the Realistic representation.
He uses the whole heritage of the academic techniques without disdaining the idea of experimenting new materials and expressive supports. His work sweeps from the canvas to the digital supports, from paper to the video animations and sculpture.
