Artist Statement:
I am interested in exploring the fine line between the self and the outer world, the constant interaction between perception, feelings, action and reaction and the personal mythology that arises out of this chaotic input/output motion. I use my own life experiences as subjects for my work and I am particularly interested in exploring the territory of love, loss, melancholy and ephemerality through a visual language and system of symbols that synthesizes experience as aesthetic metaphors.
