Artist Statement:
Art research is a long way, it is about digging, taking apart and going the whole hog, where the Image becomes Vision. In this perspective, I consider my work a visionary one: I create images out of time and space, plunged in a primitive atmosphere. A landscape seen from the inside and, the other way round, the personal view of the artist that reworks the reality. The result is a huge collage of the visible and the past: “the great photomontage of reality.”
Biography:
Sabrina Casadei was born in Rome in 1985. After attending high school specializing in classic studies and getting her degree, in March 2009 she graduated in Painting from the Accademy of Fine Arts in Rome. She lives and works both in Berlin and Rome.Primary Market
