Artist Statement:

A soggy pile of animated broccoli thinking about streams of marbled faces, left out to rot by the dumpster.
My work exists between a distant surreal world and the twisted mundane. It is an exploration of the self through media based on levels of immediacy and transformative qualities.

Biography:

Britt Moseley is a New York based multi-disciplinary artist who works primarily in performance and sculpture. He received a BFA from Pratt Institute and has shown his original performance works at the St. Ann’s Warehouse (NY), Hammer Museum (CA), LaMama ETC.(NY), Triskelion Arts Center (NY), Greenwich House Pottery (NY), Phipps Conservatory (PA), Silas Marder Gallery (NY), the Long Island Nature Conservancy (NY), and Pratt Institute (NY). His sculpture and dioramas have been seen at Three Four Three Four (solo exhibition)(NY), Jane Hartsook Gallery(NY), Etalage Derde Wal (NL),and the Dekalb Gallery(NY). He co-creates a podcast Poppa Squash: The Radio Transmissions with Sean Petell that can be found anywhere podcasts are available.
