Artist Statement:
My new work, Configuration, Transformation and Assembly and Conversations With E. Vila-Matas, s reflective of the physical damages created from recent storms, over-development of the coastal regions of the northeast and of my native mid-west. The work is a blend of landscape and architecture, digital and hand painted media.

Biography:
Donna Moran is a professor of Fine Art at Pratt Institute. Her work has been widely exhibited in the US and abroad. In 2013 Moran was a Visiting Artist at The American Academy in Rome and an Artist in Residence at The Vermont Studio Center. Past residencies include: The Centre for Fine Print Research in Bristol, England, and U Gratzie Ceramica in Deruta, Italy.
Moran is currently working on two new series: Configuration, Transformation and Assembly and Conversations With E Vila-Matas. These are mixed media works, reflective of the physical damages created from recent storms, over-development of the coastal regions of the northeast and of her native mid-west.
